To my knowledge, no one makes anything from the vert, as the dimensions are completely different from the coupe. I had this built to spec by rollcagecomponents.com. They've done a few cages for my friends' chump cars and were great to work with. The main hoop, down bars (pre-notched) and plates were only about $250-300 shipped (and 40% of that was shipping).Originally posted by Jesus Christ View PostNice, is this the roll bar kit from VAC?

Thanks! The top dictates the height, but my best guess is it will come down 3-4" and be near level with the windshield.Originally posted by Niterider03 View PostThat's going to looks awesome. How short are you planning to cut it? Down to the top of the front windshield or shorter? Man, your car makes me want an e36 really really bad

Got my roll bar in today.
Seems to be a perfect fit (it will obviously be shorter when installed).

Mostly working on my wife's car now and have more work to do to the interior, so it will be a few weeks until it gets installed.

This thing was awesome all winter down here! It's the summer I'm worried about.Originally posted by Jeqpe View Postthis is dope! awesome ride now that the summer is coming to
atleast for us cavemen in the chilly north!
No. Fenders are rolled and I have -2*F/-3*R camber.Originally posted by SoCalStance View PostOp did you run any spacers ?
So far really good. As long as you do good prep work, it should be fine. I have managed to chip it a couple of places (line doorsills) and it's easy to touch up. I just do a quick tape job and spray with the panel in place.Originally posted by 2low2go View Postawesome work! the interior looks so much nicer. how's the durability of the painted panels when exposed to sun, cleaning, rubbing...
Thanks! I'm hoping it will look really good in the next few months.Originally posted by BavarianGrun View PostThe interior looks so much better bro, good work!!
Thanks!! Appreciate it!Originally posted by womensecks View PostThis just changed everything I felt about E36s. So good man, keep up the great work.
