Please remove roofrack <: As much as I enjoy the ratty look on these aircooleds, the new style roof rack is ruining the Ghia's nice lines man!

That's not a new style rack, it's a legit vw rack from the 70s

if you respray it...keep the blue and white, flat black would ruin it

some smaller tires will help you out as well, and a drop beam....you can drive these slammed without air

I would do a static drop, but everyone i know is telling me not to for the sake of tires and axles.

My Variant had about 50mm (4clicks rear, 3clicks front iirc) all standard for a year and didn't have issues turning and axles, tyres etc were fine... Ran temp tyres up front and a little smaller than stock out back

I dailied my Ghia right up until I took it off the road for resto. 3 splines without extended spring plates means that you have to be prepared to flip your rear tyres every 400'ish miles (replace every 800ish). Ghias go can look fucking low, while maintaining fairly good ground clearance as the jacking points and drip rail things on the sills are the lowest points on a K&L Ghia... Although, you're Balljoint so it'll be a bit harder.
