Dude above me bumped a super old thread, but thank god he did. Whatever happened to this? A V8 powered bagged brick isnt something that should just fall off the face of the earth...

Looks sweet on those wheels mayne. Might as well take out the marker lights in the rear quarters if you take out the welder.

These will be the first set of wheels it will drive on, the next set won't come until it is on the street, along with a few mods to the rear wheel tubs to make them fit.

And a quick fit check but not at ride height

Are these the test wheels, and if so did you decide what you're going to use?

Bought a 235/45/17 Falken and got it mounted up for suspension mock-up and measuring for spacers.
Just some mild stretch

And a quick fit check but not at ride height

I broke out the welder and welded in the holes for the antenna on the A pillar, also fixed the drivers door frame where the spot weld had broke at the door jamb. Camber plates are in and I ordered some street rod style LS1 engine mounts, my dad and I are going to drop the engine/trans in for thanksgiving.
Did a little clean up and paint under the hood

But I need to fix the lower hood hinge mounts, it's obvious what's wrong here.

Driver's side is torn but not fubar like the passenger side

Both these pics are after I straightened the areas out with a body hammer. :retard:
And my LS1 street rod style motor mounts came in too.

Jon I still owe you some wrench time...even if I didn't I'd still be down to help. Let me know when you;re back in town & we can knock some stuff out. Great progress!
