Dropped off a pair of hubs and axles at the machinist to get redrilled to 5x114.3, much easier to find wheels rather than the lame-o 5x108,

    Also picked up these today.

Just low n slow just for the start, V8 will not be going in until all parts are procured so stock engine will have to do for around a year.

As with all joy there is sadness, try as I may the new wheels will not work without major bodywork, which I was trying to avoid, so I am on the hunt again.

    Potential: This thread has it.

Why the V8 if you're going for low n slow, btw?

Seriously though Volvo springs are soooo soft that even cutting them doesn't raise the spring rate much, just temporary while I wait for new wheels and build a set of coilovers.
Truth. Probably the only car I would ever consider cutting springs

    Nope, going donk stylz.

Coilovers are being built, there aren't any available off the shelf but I wanted the right wheels and tires before I set the stance.

After the baloon tires are replaced they should look the biz but the front may need some help

Wheels are a late model volvo off CL for $300, only 7" wide though, but they are 2 piece.
