So people have been asking if it was true, whether this was a ploy to unveil the new motor and setup. But infortuenlty it is not. The motor was not done. I had a deadline of 1 week before I had to be a back at school that the car had to be done and driving. So I pulled the head apart on the motor that was pulled from the car. Reprimed the lifters, and cleaned every part of the head and rollers. Since my clutch was bad I sad fuck it and threw in the 6 puck along with the lightweight flywheel along with the other 2 poly motor mounts that I had neglected to put in previously. So I put the motor back in the car struggled a bit and pushed her out to start it. She cranked and cranked but would just not start. Finally she kicked over and the lifter were silent so everything was looking good but the clutch was just not disengaging and the car was surging forward in neutral. So I shut it down and tried to find the issue. Part of the issue was the slave cylinder, but that wasnt the complete thing. I broke down and said she is done. The car had a code so I figured I would pull the code and check it, but nope the car will not connect to the OBD on both ECUs and trying several different times. That was the true final straw.

In short notes the car has drivetrain, engine, suspension, sever rust and rot isses, electrical, and interior issues. I am done with it and a part out is in progress. I feel it is time for me to get out of the Galants and most likely the mitsu world. I need a new challenge.

I have a year to get something new so I wont rush into it.

    So time for another update.

First these are the best socket holders I have ever used. The sockets dont fall off like the looped metal ones. Really handy, plus they were on sale for 12.99

So I talked to the machinst got some info and viola a box came in.

Inside this box was some pink shit and the stuff I ordered. Trans fluid, ACL tri-metal bearings, Supertech valve seals, and thrust bearings.

This was a nice total of $204

But the info I got from my machinist was the bearing size, my crank is cut 10/10, meaning the first step up in bearing size being .25mm since we are metric yo!!

Then I yanked the motor, it fought me tooth and nail.

It even fought back and it hurt like a sombitch too.

And now for some coolio pictures of random shit
