I'm really excited to see this thing on a new air setup! I've talked to a few people recently who want to bag their W123's and W126's. I love the fact that people are starting to get away from the cut coil trend. Looks great so far!

OP, please post as much information about your air-ride system as you can once it undergoes construction. (Pictures please)
I have a w126 420sel with 25k on the odo and have been trying to find information on the right way to bag these cars for almost a year now and it's really an area of the ocean that hasn't been touched yet!

Right well been a while now since my last update but the ball is rolling now!
Engine started getting a few mis fires so ordered up and fitted new leads:
Dizzy cap and rotor arm:
Runs sooo much smoother now, It's so nice to drive! Faster too!
Started painting the inner arches as it looks so fresh and easier to spray out the salt from the coming winter months. This is going to be his first winter outside bless him.
Before:
After:
A mate gave me a cool new beer mat thing so that got whacked on the dash, comes in pretty handy actually! Looks cool too I reckon!
Random night shot while shooting a mates Accord.
Made a start on getting him low, I got impatient with the Hotrod shop and decided to lop a few coils off.
I did loads of research on how many to take off with it still being safe and handling well. They said one for a small drop and less body roll, one and a half for a little more drop and even less roll or two off for firmer ride and quite alot of lows, So naturally I took THREE off haha, I could take another off and the spring still be fully seated at full drop so that'll probably happen soon!
The rears are yet to come. I love it though!
Check the size of the standard spring y0! :O lols
After rolling it off the jacks and driveway.

Front looks great! I think the back could come down a touch and you'd be looking spot on

Time for an update!
Painted the other three arches and it now looks factory fresh and ready for winter salt.
Managed to fit a MK1 golf chin spoiler to the front. It required lots of fannying with a jigsaw and file to get it to fit the curvature of the Merc front end.
I absolutely love it though! Looks like it was meant to be there!
Apologies for the Mobile phone images, Havn't had the time to get the DSLR out yet.
