Found steelies but I need to figure out how to get white walls. I know you can paint the tires but they have to be roughed up, via wire wheel.
I have 3 projects going now.. a CBR powered Fiat 500, a Z3 coupe track car and a Spec E36 build. So ill get more done on the E34 some day.. Right now its just fun to drive.

Despite all the **** I grantee anybody in this thread would be like "oh shiiiiiiiit" if they saw this on the road.

Its sorta cool really. The wheels aren't actually that bad but the spoiler and cheesy spikes kill it for me. I really love the pin striping, it has the potential to make the car if you do more and do it right.

Side trim and spikes can be swapped out in 10 min. All the side trim is plastic and I have a few sets. I am older than many of you, I was a teen when the Sex Pistols - Clash - Ramones were just getting started. So the spikes are my homage to punkrock.

One weekend ill spend the time to change the look, go back to stock trim and get the steelies mounted.

I picked up some new wheels last month. I had to make some room for the rubber.
They look much better than the old wheels.

I like it, but I generally like rat-roddy cars.

That being said, you gain some brownie points in the fact it was on fire and you didn't just mix alcohol and a few other things to eat and rust the metal.

This could look really slick on bags, but in the end, it's your car, do what makes you happy.

What about (the most commonly known people) Rusty and Aaron Wey, they both were ratty ass cars with fantastic wheels. I think he needs some very clean wheels to sort of offset the darks of the body. He could probably get away with polishing his to give them a shine, would look real clean imo.

If I were in your position I would probably go with something more close-faced and polished, kind of like an OZ Breyton with polished (or machined) faces, that would look tight.

Diesel oil rub downs will not only darken it, but also protect it from rust
