What about bare metal? Sand it right back with a rough pad so it's got no rust but is sort of dirty as brushed looking and clear it
This sounds promising.. Ill try it on a few of the body panels over weekend..
Ill see what I can find for wheels then lowering. I agree at some point it wont be able to be autocrossed. I can just start using one of the track cars instead.. I am doing more track events like Sebring and Moroso - PBR any way.
I pulled out the sanding wheels and found bare metal.
I did the top of the car to the metal then cleared it..
I also played a bit with the pin striping roller- gun I have. It will take alot of practice. But with this finish if I dont like it I can sand it off and re try.
Turbo, Slam it, polished fatties... Best of both worlds
E46 M3 "Low & Raspy" 1988 FJ62 Land Cruiser 1974 BMW R60 bobbed&lowered E30 325i Long term project E36 M3 CAB slammed & sold E36 328i slammed & parted out
not feeling the spikes either.
you should slam it to the ground and add a set of (maybe high polished/chrome) wheels, to get a higher contrast to the fucked up rest of the car. there is a german who owns a rat-e34, i think you can find him via google.
really diggin the car, nice.
This car is pretty freaking cool! can you buy 17 inch steel wheels for these? It might be really sweet with chrome steelies and baby-moons. like the same offset and width. Good luck dude!
needs a bit more work on the burnt metal on plastic
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons
