Uh, he doesnt own a car...only opinions...so it doesnt really count for much.

This is his grab for attention...when he sees others doing what he wants to do in life.

Id feel sorry for those types...but dont really have the free time to do so. all my free time is spent building cars

moving on.....shopping for a supercharger now

Sorry for the late post, but i just had to comment on the tig welding
to weld lips on is a feat, to get it right just by eyeballing thats an acheivement in itself
outstanding job!! wheels and the car are awesome.

                        Sweet! Looking forward to updates.

I have to say I'm also not a fan of the engine area. What engine mods do you have?

I really love his car but will have to carve my own path with my builds. The rears are exactly where i want them...the fenders will not have to be modified past a nice "roll". I ordered custom sized spacers for the fronts...its a band aid but a lot cheaper than buying new lips for 3 or 4 mm's

Thank you! In all honesty, I was VERY nervous when I took them to be mounted and BALANCED. They both needed only one small weight...SHOCKED!

                          - harbour freight caliper, sticky note pad and clamps that were tack welded.

                          - I used the same shims that leveled my pool table slate to center the wheel faces...A deck of Playing Cards

                          - Then I had to fill every other hole and re-drill....then weld.

I think they turned out pretty ok

Ithanks!! I still have the GS and one of the LS's. I bought another one for a steal and built it: I did the interior, suspension, stereo, brakes and wheels and got an offer I couldnt refuse for it. I didnt want to sell but it wouldve been stupid considering how cheap 'i had originally purchased the car for.

My seat is broken...cant reach the pedals......so i parked it. LoL!! Ive got 750il rear power seats that i have to figure out the wiring on. A few minor interior things and re-did the stereo since the last update. I have to roll the rear quarters because they touch the tires slightly...coupled with the fact that i couldnt break a bolt loose to adjust the rear camber

It's hit or miss with the engine stying...some like it, others dislike it. There are no decals on it anymore, so its a bit cleaner. Just didnt feel like leaving it "black".

I wont do any engine mods. There's just too much on my plate to do a "full build" on this car.

I'm gonna do the exhaust in a month or so....Maybe intake and ecu software to finish up.

soooo sick. and you knoe, with the way the car looks, id notice the camber on the big body, that shit pops, but without this build thread, i dont think id appreciate it the same way without knowing what needed to be done in order to do what was done to it. and again nice E38!

                                THANKS SO MUCH!

I was beyond scared thinking that I could possibly screw up sum pretty expensive wheels.

As soon as it stops raining a bit i'll get new snaps taken.
