Just some quick snaps of my car with its new wheels on with my brothers soon to be bagged a6 avant.

So much ground clearance in that last shot, i should def go lower and probably clean the white tyre fitting stuff off the tyres.

Took some quick snaps yesterday before my car goes away to the body shop. Someone reversed into the car while it was parked in Glasgow so thats getting fixed and I decided to get the rear arches painted while its at the body shop. So the pics...

          Rear arch in primer.

You can kind of see the dent in the kidney panel here.

Ive been thinking about wheels again as well. I still have my 32s but I dont really like the colour so much any more. So I might change the colour and stick them back on in future, unless they sell. Or I might change the colour of the centres of the 5s, not too sure yet.

*Bonus Pic*- My brothers bagged audi. Needs wheels and body work, he knows.

So the car got fixed, no pics of that yet but I also had to get the car MOTed so i rolled around at a ridiculous height for a bit.

Then got the MOT. Passed, no advisories! So about an hour after the MOT the car was back to a more reasonable height.

I think it still needs to go a wee bit lower but that will come after I switch back to some style 32s.

Hope you guys like it, I know its pretty much exactly what everyone else has already done but i'm happy enough with it.
P.S. sorry about the terrible camera phone quality pics

So I haven't updated this in a loooong time.

I sold my Style 5s and bought another set of 8J / 9J style 32s so I had 4 8s and 4 9s. Got the 4 9s powder coated silver. Did a stud conversion, bought 4 15mm spacers and fitted the wheels with 205/40 tyres.

So my setup now is 4 e39 9J style 32s with 15mm spacers, giving an offset of 11, and 205/40/17 tyres.

Heres a few pics, hopefully you like what you see.

p.s. I dont know why the quality of the pictures is so shite, i think it was when i uploaded them.

Thanks. Its just maxed out on the stock camber arms at the back and the natural camber from lowering at the front. My rear arches are rolled but it does still rub very slightly on big bumps and hard cornering.

I'm not to much of a mechanic so let me ask you a noob question please...

                        Stock camber arms are adjustable??
I have stock camber arms too and did not see any possibility in adjusting them..
I do have a little negative camber though from lowering the car but I can't adjust anything there...

Sorry maybe I worded my comment badly. The arms are fixed in length but they are attached to the car with an eccentric bolt. This is where the camber adjustment comes from. So all you have to do to adjust it is loosen the bolt slightly and move the washer round until you have more camber. Moving the washer round pushes the bottom of the hub outwards, which has the effect of moving the top of the tyre inwards.
This is how I adjusted mine but I got an alignment done after this to make sure the camber was the same on both sides and also to check the toe wasnt way out.
I've got about -4 degrees but if you need more camber than that you will have to buy adjustable arms.
                          Hope that helps.

                                Just found this thread.

Great progress man, are you getting mtech side skirts?

Love that you put the 9s on all round. Looks badass!
