Boldly going where no one really wanted to go before.
I've always been a fan of the unconventional. Which is why when I discovered the idea of "stance" I was sucked in just like everyone else. 2 parts love of your car, and 1 part automotive sex appeal. Such a simple idea, but when executed right, it produces a profoundly gorgeous vehical. Of course, for me, what really piqued my interest was the odd and quirky side of stance. It was then when I felt right at home.
Always a fan of the ugly older sisters of the plymouth muscle, I've been drawn to those big ass 4 doors. From the 50's on, leadsleds, coupes, sedans and land yachts always had a comforting appeal to me. So I set out to find me one I could love on. That's when I met Stella. She's not much to look at yet, but give her some time, and I guarantee she'll be something not often seen.

The plan is, after I finish installing my headers and get the dual exhaust set up done, I plan to get some big fatty tires, and bag her. Essentially I'm looking to fill up my wheel wells (obviously) but they are gigantic. One of the best parts about these old cars though, is that the wheel wells go right up to the sheet metal on the fenders so I can lay frame alll day. Also a pro black satin paint job as well.
I'm on the quest for set of wheels right now, that are a bit of a vintage throwback. Something that will look good if I'm rolling around town with a slight rake, as well as tucked up right under the fenders. I must confess though, I do love the original hubs and goofy white walls, I feel they grant quite a bit of character, so for now, it's quite fun to roll around town in.
As far as the interior and engine go, I'll leave the 318 stock except for the exhaust and a possible cam change, for rumble, and the interior I'm going to plush up with carpet, and eventually install a small TV screen for the back, for those comfy lady killing bench seats.
But it is a slow start. For now, it's polishing out the rattle can paint flecks, and throwing on some headers. But I'm loving ever minute of it. (Moved my comments)

Removed my old exhaust manifolds today, and heat treated my headers to pop them in, but mopars just have to be difficult, and I have to remove the steering assembly and possibly re weld the auto trans linkage into a different spot to fit my right side. Also for whatever reason the studs for the manifolds are drilled right through the coolant bladder, so it decided to literally rain on my parade today. Good progress though. Will post pictures soon.
