I completely forgot this thread and left yall hanging... I ended up blowing the engine with the HX60, rebuilt it and went with some cheap ass TT kit off ebay and blew my trans. Lost interest in the car when i got my S14 and then ended up parting it out and scraping the chassis.
Did you do it the legit way? I knew a ton of people that got cars of questionable construction to pass inspection. Amazing what happens when you know someone who knows someone!
first off i was too low for the dyno and then i told them i was on e107(e85) and they were like we cant do emissions on that anyways so they did the safety part and did a rpm bypass put the car on the dyno in reverse and ran it in reverse lol
hardest step for getting "street legal" out the way

This makes me want to buy a Merkur and put a 302 in it. I absolutely despise 2nd-gen SBCs, I think they're under-engineered turds, but I LOVE this project. There's one thing I can't deny about this project, and it's the old-school, hardcore hotrod, "throw it together, make it fast, and get it on the f***in' road" aspect of putting a carbureted 350 in something way too small for a V8. Awesome stuff.
