    ^thanks Eric

Feature is Up! take a gander. Ben and Charlie put together a great set of pictures and descriptions of the conversations we have been having over the past few years while planning this thing. Awesome stuff.

Back on stands for the day or two in an attempt to get her set up with a few small details for the next shoot(s). Then in about 2 weeks, she officially starts the yearly winter teardown and build.

the winter list isnt physically as long as last year, but there sure are some fun items on the list.
the funny thing i noticed, is about 90% of the list i have been putting together is all going to be custom fabbed in the garage. Some simple in nature, and some well... not so simple.

updates very soon.. and probably after this weekend, a few dope rolling shots that i have been looking to get since i first mounted the wheels 8-9 months ago

no plans to swap the motor. its now built from the bottom up, and i plan on an all out NA to see how much power i can squeeze out of her. hoping for the 300 wheel mark, currently sitting at about 265wheel. When you put that into perspective, thats more power then a stock VG30-DETT makes, so not too bad so far.

some projects this winter, if they work out, will make this motor truly one of a kind at least for this country.

funny enough, on the way back from FCF, the car sounded like crap and the wideband said the car was running lean when not under load. Turned out from the fact that i really had only driven the car around the block a few times prior to the 3 hour drive to NJ each way, the header to test pipe connection loosened up on both sides and the gasket was disintegrated on both sides. a piece of the gasket was stuck where the wideband o2 sensor was located, and that was showing the fault. Just finished pulling it all apart and new gaskets for the entire system and car sounds like it should again. A little more fine tuning, and it should be all good.
-main issue here was a combination of shitty roads and solid straight pipes from the motor back. no flex anywhere in the system to take the vibrations of the rock solid suspension on crap roads..

Probably the nicest 300ZX I have ever seen. My buddy Thai has a pretty nice TT model as well (black w/ CCW LM20's....I think he was @ FCF)

thanks everyone. The list is in action for this winter.

I am going to be doing some custom exhaust work this weekend- always disliked the mufflers, but i am very fond of the custom exhaust layout for all of the stainless steel piping from motor back. So mufflers are getting chopped off, new mufflers, and some custom one off tips.. well 4 off as there will be 4 of them

and i got to sketching since i am looking for new seats, and i did a quick sketch of the recaro sportsters i want to modify... not sure i want to drop the cash on the pair though, and then modify them. but then again, nothing in this car gets installed before getting modified a bit

it should flow with the rear of the car quite a bit better.

I hear ya bud, when I had the Greddy Evo on my car it had a similar shape to your mufflers. Sounded great, but stood out too much, even after painting it black.
