updates would have happened after this weekend, as the cars were all making their way out to h2oi weekend. But unfortunately the fairlady will be the only one not making it... Too many projects on everyone elses cars and wheel sets forced me to pull the plug on the tight deadline.

Worked full days and nights trying to get it done in time, but the deadline was completely not possible. FAIL

with that said, once I am back I will be finishing up the wiring and re-doing the second half of the harness. More simplification in the quest for perfection.. The wiring will be so simple, it should get back to Nissan so they can implement it. Their wiring back in the '90s was a complete disaster. So far i have removed about 50lbs of wiring out of the car.

I have to say this wiring exercise is not only to remove the unnecessary, but make it perform in a way that servicing the car is now a joke. Simplicity is great when it performs

Read this whole thread and I am in awe. I mainly joined SW just to respond to this thread; what an incredible work of art you have built. Hoping there are some updates to be posted!

I got them directly from the manufacturer. Having a company aided in that one.. I have not finished that work yet, so I dont want to refer them until I know they are good... My friends have used deutsche autosport connectors in the past with good results. These are different though. These are actually Military spec with Mmodel numbers and all..

as for job stuff, all I can say is that I do not work for an architecture firm any longer... No money in working for most architecture firms, especially small ones. You have to be resourceful and think outside of the box to make any money in the design industry.. Luckily I have built up the reputation, and built a contact list (most important thing) which actually aided me in placing this job in my lap.

Funny enough my coworkers asked me on my first day how I got this position, because the only people in the office my age were the interns. haha. Now they see my work, so I guess that helps, but I am the youngest person in a full time senior position. haha

It is a Senior Design position for Global visual marketing and Store Design fyi at a large corporation. Big venture from my sr design position at a 7 person design firm

I know a few others have asked but I didn't see a reply anywhere above, where did you order your mil-spec connectors from?

Just out of curiosity, as I am an architectural designer working towards licensure, where did you graduate from school and what company did you take a job with? Your attention for detail is a thing of beauty.

Putting a nice double or triple core narrower radiator where the old AC condensor was? Am I close? :P Love all the work you've done. It gives me inspiration for my Z.

That's some good news! Better pay and stability is certainly a good thing. As far as this build goes, perfection doesn't happen overnight so we'll all be tuned in for more when it comes. I know I will be.
