Well its been just over a year since i posted my car on stanceworks. Life has been really crazy lately and i havent had much time to play on the interwebz. Here is a link to a small build thread of my car 13mo ago.
Anyway, i picked up a stock 745i turbo setup for a great deal and decided to boost the old gal. Here is a list of what was used in the build.
Rebuilt 745i KKK K27 turbo
745 turbo manifold
Tial MVS wastegate
New Bosch 30lb injectors
BEGI RRFPR
TCD turbo chip
HKS SSQ BOV
Walbro 255 in tank pump
New stock Bosch external fuel pump
3" full exhaust with magnaflow muffler
Moosehead engineering Tial wastegate adapter (built by George)
Moosehead engineering 3" downpipe with Tial recirc (built by George)
AEM EUGO wideband
VDO oil pressure gauge
HKS old school boost gauge
Here is a recent shot of my E28. Currently rockin 17x8 style 5's at the moment. I'm on the hunt for a nice aggressive set of wheels.

Before this weekend. I installed the BEGI RRFPR, Walbro fuel pump, new stock external fuel pump, new fuel filter, new stock FPR, and replaced every fuel hose on the car.
Started on a friday night, made sure my friends and I had plenty of supplies for the long night/weekend

Pulled the intake, maf, airbox, etc

Longtubes removed

Had to removed the exhaust studs to install longer ones with spacers. 745i cyl head uses larger diameter exhaust studs. This shot shows the manifold on with the turbo clocked to the right position.

After the manifold and turbo were in, i installed the oil distribution block to my oil filter housing, ran the line to the turbo and wired up the oil pressure gauge (sorry, no pics). Then it was time to install the new Bosch 30lb injectors.

Here is a shot of the stock 745i charge pipe to the throttle body. Found this adapter at lowes that worked perfect for fitting my IACV to the charge pipe.

Pulled the DME and installed TCD's turbo timing chip for the 059 DME.

Built a charge pipe from the turbo to the pipe for the throttle body. Also installed the BOV on that pipe. I lengthened the AFM wires, and ran some vacuum lines. Everything is pretty much mocked up at this point.

During the build my friends were in the car wiring up the gauges. I had a custom pod built that replaces the top A/C center vent.

Car started and ran immediately. Had a small leak at the oil supply line to the turbo that we quickly fixed. A week after it was running i got my Tial WG and adapter in and installed those. The stock 745i WG was stuck open so the car was a PITA to drive until i got the Tial installed. She runs great at the moment.
I'm currently getting ready to install my B35 intake manifold. During that install i will be cleaning up the engine bay a bit and getting some updated pics. Future plans are to add a intercooler and turn up the boost a little bit. It's at 9psi and feels pretty damn strong at the moment.
