    Hi! Nice ride!!

I have, maybe, the solution for your front bag mounting.
On the internet, i found how to put front bags on a Volvo Amazon.
I think this will be my solution for this problem, for my future ride.

He look similar to your front axle!

Just make a new emplacement for the front shock on the side of the lower arm :

And don't forget to reinforce the lower arm :

I think it's a good solution, maybe not the best for the distribution of forces, but it works ...

Sorry, if it's not a perfect english, it's not my native language.

Here's to bringing up an old thread...
Aron still has the car, under cover in a canopy. He lost interest, but hopefully the car will see the light of day this year, if I can help it.

I need some ideas of where to relocate the front shock on this car so I can put a sleeve bag where the spring goes. It is an old school American style front suspension where the spring is over shock but not connected with dual A-arms.

this is what the axle looks like off the car sadly I don't have any good photos of it on the car but I will try to get some.

Thanks for the support guys I am really stoked to get going on this thing again. I just need to draw up some ideas for front shock re-location.

Yay! I've been needing some classic Opel updates.

My GT is still stuck on the other side of the planet until I can get the money saved to have it shipped over to me.

HA! That's a good one. They don't make poly mounts I would have to make my own. It has NOS mounts right now.
