  • If anyone is interested I am selling the bags since they aren't going to work. I had four to start with but sold two. I still have the two that I test fitted in the car.

    • So among all the boring engine stuff and bad news some exciting stuff came in the mail today!

These bags are tiny! Which is exactly what I need. I posted a pic of me holding one so you can see how small they are. I had to buy new fittings since these bags are 1/8" port and sadly the fittings won't come until tomorrow. I might try and get the bags in today but I need to buy some stuff first.

Also is it normal for the bottom of a sleeve bag to just have a nub that sits in a hole and isn't secured?

Oh ha just that the engine has problems despite being built by a "professional" and that the first bag setup didn't work. I would be lying if I said that I didn't expect trial and error when putting air ride on this car.

          More soon....very very soon.

          • More good news. I got the brackets figured out for the new bags and got them in. I don't have the fittings yet so they are bottomed out for the time being, but that will change tomorrow. (don't worry I'm not driving it) I need to remove the bump stops since I think it's sitting on them now. Also I am going to cut the nub off the top bracket that I made.

For all of you that think you can't weld or can't afford it this first photo shows what I did today with my Harbor Freight 110v flux wire welder.

                          • Got the rear bags hooked up today since my fittings came. I also finally got the video uploaded for the first bag set up. You can see the obvious difference. I need to have the fenders rolled since the tires are hitting. That is what you are hearing in the second video.

I also gained a little more drop by cutting some off the brackets that I made.

                            All the way up.
