I read your post, but since most don't, LOL WTF blah blah blah post pics, my friend

Wow, this is interesting.
When I bought the car the original suspension had leaking, cracked shock absorbers and corroded springs. It would have failed its MoT had I not replaced them. So, instead of fitting OEM parts, I used Gaz coilovers. They were a lot stiffer than the original suspensions, but that was a concession I was willing to make to allow the ride height to be adjusted - if you want it to run it at original height, use the two u-shaped spanners in the boot (right-hand tool kit area, if memory serves) to raise it.
As for the exhaust, when I sold it (to the person that I presume sold it to you), I was quite clear to the buyer that it was blowing. He planned to replace it, but what he did and didn't do is not my responsibility.
Which brings me to my next point. Before suggesting that I'm a charlatan on a public website - also bearing in mind that I use my real name and don't hide behind an internet persona - remember that there was ANOTHER OWNER between me and you/your customer. I'm not going to be held responsible for their work.

Indeed. And as bought, it looked a very respectable and original car which you turned into something which might be of appeal to a 16 year old kid in a slouch beany hat. Nice work, Bruv.Originally posted by Matt Jones View PostI've sold the car now, but thanks for all the compliments - even the baffling ones.
@Pacerpeat - I'm sorry you don't like the modifications. However, all I did was fit some BBS wheels on an older BMW then lower it. This website seems to celebrate similar activities. You might not like it here.

Car looked awesome in my book and those wheels were sweeeet!
Maybe I posted because the bodged up turd boasting many examples of the OPs tasty handiwork has recently left my premises with most of its issues finally resolved........
Matt, having bought the car as a reasonably tidy standard car, did you honestly get into it after "removing" the suspension and really believe you had improved the car ? even after ripping the middle exhaust box open ?
