Nice wheels! I'm running the exact same ones on my project. Did you have to use adapters because of lack of space on the inside or did you just not want to do a redrill instead?

I didnt want to redrill, and with adapters i got the offsets i wanted(18x10 -10, 18x12 -4). The wheels are super light for their size, and were cheap, and they should be pretty strong, but I'll find out soon enough haha. For the extra ebrake handle, im just cutting one arm short but keeping both cylinders functional, and welding the arms together at a lower point.
Thanks for the compliments on the wheels! I think theyll be a nice change from the standard work equip or meisters everyone else is running
Got the motor in yesterday, fits well but its gonna take some work to get the rack to fit right. 1 by DriftBuild, on Flickr 2 by DriftBuild, on Flickr 3 by DriftBuild, on Flickr 4 by DriftBuild, on Flickr
Going to retrofit the differential, axles, hubs, and brakes into the fc subframe. I didnt feel comfortable trusting the stock, 170,000 mile, differential with holding almost 500 hp, but this should be fine considering a gto weighs 150% of what my fc should weigh when finished.
Thanks! I joined this forum just because of your car actually haha. Once I get my new front tires on, new skirts, lip, and stiffer springs all around to drop it a little lower, and of course a good detail I'll post pics of my G. Everything is pretty much the same as when Rob had it, all I did was go through a few sets of tires and added hotchkis sways. I can't wait to see your car man.
Ditching the power brakes altogether to keep the engine bay cleaner and more simple. Plan on upgrading to wilwood calipers in the future, but for now the stock rx7 front/gto rear brake setup should do just fine.
