Yeah man I remember your build. The deployment thing is brutal I bet. As far as seat mounts go I have no idea yet. Once the car gets back to Get Nuts Labs ill talk to Forrest to see what he thinks would be good. I haven't really gotten to that point yet haha.Originally posted by LaMaR- View PostMy builds been on here, but I keep getting sent overseas. I just got back last night at 1am from a 3week trip to the UK... Im back for a month then gone for 6months on deployment... By the way do you have any suggestions for seat brackets. Something low
Thanks man, I appreciate it.Originally posted by Pstl_Pete View PostI applaud your dedication to building your car at this level.
Seriously awesome!
Yeah my family used to have a Buckshot long travel sand rail with a 422 cu in 14.5:1 stroker ls1 that was like 720whp. That car was a beast to say the least(didn't mean to rhyme!) I think I was about the only 13 year old in the world who's parents would set them loose alone in a car like that in the middle of the desert hahaOriginally posted by Pstl_Pete View PostOh and excellent choice on the engine. Today, pretty much got all the rest of the rear cut away that can be. Also welded in a chromoly brace between the strut towers. I didnt realize it until we jacked the car up and saw how much the chassis flexed with all the rear cut away haha so that was fixed first

The car is still in my shop in pahrump, maybe coming back next weekend. Im not racing next weekend because my car is still down with ignition problems :/ But that just means more progress on this car!
