So, what my friend got was actually an '01 V70 to thrash, that shit won't work with my car.

Managed to talk to a few eople and I'll be getting a rebuilt bottom end(new rings, gaskets, seals, etc), head, manifolds, turbo, and a flywheel for $350. On the lookout for a T5 after that, building the motor to hopefully ~250whp. Then will be upgrading to coilovers, bigger wheels, redoing the sound system, a real bucket seat(even though my barcaloungers are nice), hydro brake, and if everything goes to plan, it'll get a new two-tone paint job and some rear door callout decals.


I've never actually swapped a motor or anything to that extent, so this'll be a learning experience as well.

Also, fuck acid reflux, got that shit hardcore right now.

That's funny. I have a 940 as well and everytime I work on it I'm amazed at the facility of things. Of course, my other car is a Mk2 Jetta where everything seems to have been designed to make your life harder
