Ireland is pretty crap to be honest. I always wanted an 850, either red, black, charcoal, or that nice burnt orange colour. Have you trial fitted the wheels? I'm assuming you already rolled your arches/fenders?
Fenders have been rolled, and fender liners were removed as well. I haven't truly test fit the wheels since I cant bolt them on without adapters, I held them up but that barely counts.

Yeah, those things sat nasty... but of course that was pretty much a one off tube frame.

and here's on REAL picture I took earlier today after waking up to MORE snow.

    Are you keeping the rake?
    Looks good!
It's not as raked as it looks, it's more so because the rear bumper is much shorter (vertical height) than the front with the lip, and the fender arches are at different heights, it's pretty close to even, maybe a tiny bit of rake though.

For sure, once spring hits the Monos will go on and then stuff will get a BIT more serious... I'm having fun plowing the streets in the area right now!

Back on subject, a late Merry Christmas and love your Volvo! My dad owned an S60 and it was by far the best car he ever had...built solid, no rattles or squeaks, full leather, surround sound, galvanised body, and a T5 engine, what else could you want?! haha.

What engine is your Volvo? Had a look through your pics, the Swedish make a great car!! For the price of a used BMW or Mercedes you will always get a much higher spec used Volvo! Whats next for the Volvo, when will you have the new wheels on?
Yeah, we're getting a bit of snow, its just been lake effect so only small portions of Chicago, IL are getting snow, really just the north suburbs, pretty cool actually. I have the T5 (2.3 Turbo) not a whole lot else I could want! there's something special about the sound of a turbo 5 cylinder. I'm shooting for End of March/April to have the wheels on, work has been slow, spending money to do maintenance stuff (wheel bearings, shocks, some other stuff) so I really haven't touched them, I'll probably get some more done when I get a heated garage to work in while my friend swaps the motor in his BMW.
