You're thinking of the 2nd gen. Tangerine was a 95 only color, and I have only seen one in person, EVER, and hell I have now owned 7 2g's. The contour v6 swap would be no good, they dont make any power, and dont have near the potential this car has with the F2t, or even an FE3-T motor. Staggered wheels on fwd cars is weaker than cat piss (IMO).


MY suggestion, is throw a mid-frame t3 on this thing, some 850's or 1k's, aeromotive stealth pump, Megasquirt, and E85. Up the boost and make 400whp/400ft/lb on like 20 psi. On the stock motor.

Anyways, good start on this thing.

Thanks for all the awesome comments. Sadly to say much as I was loving the probe low ans wide. Piston 3 didnt like the 20lb from the 28r. so she took a vaca. So project stance is on the hold shelf right now. I have my camber plates for the front so once i get the engine back together she will be even lower. and ill be getting spacers for the back.

So when I get it back to together and on the road she'll have

Front rx7 camber plates
inch lower drop
t3 turbo
More POWER!!!

Where we last left off.....



I had just out the wheels and tires on and then this happened to piston 2 and 3....


So I ripped it down to the block pulled the pistons and put new rings and bearings in and replaced those 2 pistons. In the time i had it apart to do rings and bearings I thought about goin bigger with a t3 60 trim. well I did. t2 out t3 in.

So in the process I got some goodies.


Felpro Headgasket, Cusco plates, AWR Solids, ARP Headstuds, Vibrant flange for the Turbo,

My only 'dislike' is the FMU...that's not really fuel management, more like a bandaid but I guess you are limited to your fuel controller options.

My Buddy is a welder and he did my up right. should hold with one problem.
