    Thank you.

    some updatage:

Got my new holley 465 mocked up on the slightly modified intake manifold. There is a gap below the adapter setup, but that's because the stock carb spacer is going there.

My ghetto machined carb adapter. I had something way more complicated in mind, but thanks to Terry of Old Skool Vulcan Werks, I was inspired to do this:

It's not quite what he suggested, but his suggestion is why I didn't over complicate it like an idiot.

Lastly, I put the stock steering wheel from that "Igor" E28 which belongs to my home slice Alex. the horn and turn signal shut off deal didn't work, despite the fact that the splines did. I wasn't too concerned about the turn signal shutting itself off, but I really wanted to keep my horn. My solution was to extend the contact piece with an old CIS banjo bolt. I had to grind it down a bit more than in this pic, but this ugly piece of engineering sure got the job done.

and the steering wheel. I even got in the back seat to try and get a proper photo.

lol, just busy right now man. I've been spending what little time I have on The White Whale (my new tow rig for those of you who don't know) and I was just letting those who wanted to see the pics know that they were back up.

by the way everyone, the pics are back up! sorry for that mishap there. Lately things have been slow for the car, but getting a differential legitimized is in progress.

Also, if any of you want to see some of the other stuff I'm up to with this kind of stuff, you can peep my page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Daves-...594190?sk=wall

I just got a new job and I have a little family stuff going on, so things might have to settle a little until I get any more serious work done on my projects. I'll make it all happen though, I always do.

ha, sorry about that. the bandwidth on those should reset in a while, if I get real ambitious I'll resolve the problem in the mean time however. Sorry for the inconvenience

Interesting about the E36 carriers. If that diff in Cali is in good condition and an LSD, I'm definitely interested. if it's open, I don't want it. I currently have 1 welded diff, and 2 open diffs. All of them are shot. LOL. not sure if the ring and pinion gears are any good or not. the pricing on those diff parts are discouraging, but I'll have to do something. when I get more time I'll look over all that stuff more thoroughly and let you know if I have any questions. Thanks!

It's actually the E36 small LSD carriers that fit with slight case modifications. I've rebuilt a few diffs for guys over in the E21 area of Bfc. Here's the write up I did on the first one.

I'll be swapping a LSD carrier out of a 3,91 into a 3,64 ring & pinion for a guy soon, he's gathering up parts. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions on the process.

There's an 83 being parted out in Cali and I think the diff is available, not sure of the ratio or if it's open or LSD.

    thanks man.

Now if only I could figure out my diff situation. I'm 99.9% sure it's junk, the one I just put in is also not much good. I hear that E30 carriers fit in E21 diff cases, so I'm thinking of getting all new bearings, seals, R&P, and an E30 LSD. Any of you perhaps heard of this? seems like a good option, E21 diffs are hard to find, and probably equally expensive I would think. (haven't priced out these parts yet)

thanks man. I went with the 12A because rebuilding an M10 seemed like it would have a boring result. On top of that, a friend of mine sold the 12A to me for a great deal with a lot of things to go with it. I had always thought rotaries were cool (more than I do now, lol), and I just couldn't turn it down. It has a dowel leak now, so I might have to rebuild it actually. I'm debating between that, a 13B, or putting my recently acquired 2.3 ford turbo motor in it. The bay would be absolutely stuffed with the 2.3, and it's heavier, so that's why I'm not sure if I'll do it.

Oh yea, the 12A is really small and light, that was a big reason to get it as well.

What made you decide to go with a 12A of all engines? Badass car man love the originality.

I need to do a few finishing touches, but now I should be able to run both fans in the summer without the stereo turning off and on.

the pics are terrible from Florescent lighting and all that Chrome! so, I'm sure you'll understand.
