    Thanks dude!
    It's going burgandrot

so as indecisive as i am about everything, I decided to pick up a set of plastic bumpers as well...so right now I have a complete set of diving boards, plastics, and i just need a rear euro bumper to complete the collection

    front bolted on..

a little trimming and modifying of the rear bumper..

and did a little work on the valve covers..

In first hard braking that mounting plate will bend and you are going to lose your brakes. And how are you going to get vacuum to the brake booster?

Why don*t you just use the e34 v8 linkage and move the brakebooster:

This is an old picture of the mount. it has since been braced at at the top, and will no longer be able to bend...I would have loved to use the e34 linkage but I don't have room for the booster behind the headlight...I am running a stainless hardline to steel braided line for vaccuum, and the system works like stock.

            • I thought you could've just used a vw type booster to make this work, since they're more compact?

              • you are going to have a very fast e30 soon, i also know how much of a kick in the nads waiting around for assholes who take your money and continuly keep saying they are doing the job is espically when you are trying to keep a build moving. many projects have been scrapped cos of this.

also i would recommend using the euro bumpers only and throwing those other 'things' away.nothing to do with your car,but as a european the other ones actually hurt my eyes!

It still would have had to be moved over a few inches, and I saw this setup used elsewhere, so i thought it was the simplest solution.

I thought I'd like the euro bumpers best too, but the euro plate section ruins it.

So I got my new valance, and threw it on, and I've had this lip sitting at the shop for a while..I know it's for an e30, but does anyone know what model it's from...is it aftermarket?

                  • It was an oem option meant for early model valence's. Looks AWESOME with that late model one though! Cars coming along well That braking system is crazy haha.

ah, i thought it might be for an early model valance...i like the look on the late valance, but the car needs to go a lot lower yet, and the lip would stop me from doing that.
