I thought you could've just used a vw type booster to make this work, since they're more compact?

In first hard braking that mounting plate will bend and you are going to lose your brakes. And how are you going to get vacuum to the brake booster?

Why don*t you just use the e34 v8 linkage and move the brakebooster:

This is an old picture of the mount. it has since been braced at at the top, and will no longer be able to bend...I would have loved to use the e34 linkage but I don't have room for the booster behind the headlight...I am running a stainless hardline to steel braided line for vaccuum, and the system works like stock.

    Thanks dude!
    It's going burgandrot

so as indecisive as i am about everything, I decided to pick up a set of plastic bumpers as well...so right now I have a complete set of diving boards, plastics, and i just need a rear euro bumper to complete the collection

    front bolted on..

a little trimming and modifying of the rear bumper..

and did a little work on the valve covers..
