This build just keeps getting better and better man, keep up the good work! I'm still quite impressed by all the work you've done by yourself on this project!
Just read through all 25 pages, it's past 1:00 in the AM here I have to get up at 6:45 to go to work but reading this epic built is totally worth it.
I couldn't believe you would pul the fenders and start over after all the work that went in to them. Seeing the new fenders on the car I can definitely see why you're doing this. I'll be following this thread hoping that even a perfectionist like you will be abble to eventualy finish this car.
im not sure how i missed this thread, but amazing work so far. the mk1 fenders are going to look great when done. Im glad you decided to step back and change the fenders for the second time. it follows the body of the car perfectly in the last few pics you posted

"A less- assuming enthusiast probably wouldnt even think that this Z ran because of how naked the engine compartment was. The motor looks as if it just floats there, with nothing else in sight." Super Street 9/2012
Fitment is looking pretty solid in my opinion. Spacer-less finally.
Since i shorted the rear panel about 1.2" I was faced with this lovely bitch.
It's almost straight now a few cuts and a lot of body massaging and I'm almost done with both sides.
Still have a rear gap, but once I cut the edge to flow better it should have really similar lines to the original 2002 body. The original 2002 outline is also feather outback like this.
Looking so good dude! That fitment is spot on, the first picture is nuts. I love checking my subscriptions and seeing this thread pop up. Looking at a local '74 2002 tomorrow, I am officially on the prowl as I just sold my R32 in Oceanside a few days ago.
I am speechless when i check in on the build. This is some serious dedication and i love to see this. Hoping some day down the road i can be the same way with a project myself. It looks great and look forward to it every day for updates!
