copper centers is interesting. Been sanding a few hours everyday.

taking on the orange peel. I know why people pay top dollar for this now haha..... it really is time consuming and an art.

Here is some serious 800grit block sanding vs non sanded end of the panel


I used the top of the car as a test subject since I put the most clear on it. I did 800 block, 1000 block, 1500 DA, 2000 block, 3000 DA trizact. After that a quick hit with some cutting agent. I can still see the orange peel so I'm knocking it back down hopefully I don't go too deep its hard to judge...

Finally today I finished the nose off. Just needs some work with the DA polishing.

paint is a prick of a thing to get right out of the gun and only practice will change that

but its looking good and with some elbow grease you can fix the O.p.

whats even better is nothing discourages you you just keep going
