Nice! You have some impressive skills. I wish the weather could be as great as in CA, 6 months winter is awful for car enthusiasts that can't work on their car in their garage... Anyways, keep going man!

I stripped all of the subframe parts with wire brushes and discs. I just used self etching primer and paint for most of it. Didn't sandblast it... just wasted hours and hours removing the old coating and rust.

99.9% of this is done in my driveway. I had a few things welded prior to having the tig and I'm going to have to get the driveshaft balanced. Beyond that I did everything.

Dat sound. Dude, I can't stop thinking about your build. My gf is about to kill me for spending so much time looking at it haha! I was wondering, do you sandblast/paint all the subframe parts, etc by yourself?

    Thanks!

Could you maybe use high temp paint on the floor over exhaust? might hold up a little longer

this thing is getting good! looking forward to seeing the exhaust project progress.

ceramic coating the exhaust might be a good option to consider. they even have a white if you dont mind installing with some white gloves... haha

Side exhausts... you have literally taken nearly every daydream of mine and actually done it on your 2002. I'm jealous but proud! Epic win!

That's true. Didn't even think about it turning black. Whatever you decide will look good I'm sure.

The issue is the color. White next to an exhaust is always going to turn black after while. Probably just going to try it and see how it looks. If it does become a problem, I can just do a carbon fiber overlay or something.
