I commmented in another thread that I was caging the car!...... so here are some crappy cell pictures I took when I picked up today, I get some better shots when I replace the seats later this month. Huge to thanks to John Christian Designs in Dallas, Texas for knocking this out of the park!
Another update as the new part to the build has started! Most of the big changes will happen prior to SOWO but we have a lot of work to do in a small amount of time! We knocked out the wrap and have started to tear the inside out to prep for cage work
The wheels were ordered prior to the decision to take a race inspired route so after SOWO this year I sold them and put on a set of VIP Modulare VRC13' 19x10.5 et30 until I can really find the perfect sporty wheels.
Well, it has been about a year since I posted anything new about the car. 9 months ago I decided I go in a track/race minded direction with the car so in the past year with the help of Dorbritz Design, I have;
-Widened the front fender by and 1 1/2 inches and the rears by 2
-Drilled and slotted rotors from Adamn Rotors
-HPS ceramic break pads
-Stainless steel brake lines
-Larger front and rear sway bars
-Aluminum Adjustable end links
-19x10.5 et32 WCI CC5 wheels on BFgoodrich 255/35/19
-Accuair elevel
-Airlift performance series bags and struts
-Dorbritz Designs Air Kapsule
-AWE Aluminum Pedals
-OEM RS4 Grill
Rotiforms come back this week! I have pulled the fender liner and rolled the fronts I would like to get close to dragging something maybe oil pan or subframe.
Well people it's been a while since we last spoke so heres an update. The car has been on block for 5 weeks until a few hours ago. The Rotiforms are in rehab because all 4....yes all 4 barrels were broken. I needed a track/daily setup anyway so I pulled the trigger on some Avant Garde 19x9.5 M368's which were suppose to be all silver....they weren't but I wasn't going to wait any longer. For tires I went with a NITTO Invo 255/35 so i could have a little for rubber for the track. While I was at it I spoke with Zink and we decided to take the care to stage 2+ with a new pulley on the SC. Install took about 4 hours today, 1 of which was waiting on the pulley to heat up in the toaster. The car is an absolute rocketship now and and should dyno well over 400awhp. I will remark that my Rotiforms will look different when they return!!! As always a big thanks to Zink and Jeremy for staying late and helping me get this finished.
