love it, i want the second part of wiring side note, are you not building a dry sump for a m/s 50/52 motor? i think i remember you saying that, and also thought that engine would end up in your e30.

I have another motor I'm piecing together that will have the dry sump setup, I have most of the parts together but after looking over several local tracks' rules it didn't make sense to try and build a 'vert into a track car due to limitations imposed by many events locally. So the search has begun for a chassis for that setup. That said, the 'vert will now have room for a/c which will keep the wife happier since she actually rides in this one.

Wiring 201 will be up this week when more pins come in from BMW, I'm also working on a build thread for the e30m3 that I'm putting a euro s50b32 into.

                  Update Time!

3.15 ring and pinion, still waiting on a new 188mm LSD.

VDO gauges to closley match the stock cluster

also got my new shifter bits in and installed and I prepped a set of flow matched and rebuilt injectors.

Injectors installed on the intake ready to go on the car.

New shifter support with an e30 m3 shifter installed.

And I buttoned up the brake hard lines, got the OBDII headers installed for the time being, cleaned up the exhaust and got it ready for modification/install, filled the car with oil, and PS fluid. Not much to look at, but at least it's starting to look like a motor.

A friend who's into e30s and mentioned that I should post pics of my headers installed with the later style gaskets/heat shields. I guess I didn't realize that I haven't seen it before online, it's a good trick if your running stock manifolds as it cleans up the look of that side of the bay a good bit, and they help direct the heat from the manifolds away from the valve cover gasket.

And for a little narritive, I was super stoked to get the corsa exhaust on the car had a friend over to help and we went to bolt it in place and. . .nada. It won't clear the e30's rear subframe. Most people might just simply choose a different exhaust but I've loved this exhaust since the first day I ever heard it and knew that one day I too would own one. Off to the pick and pull I went to grab a spare subframe to take over the the shop and modify, not able to leave well enough alone, the subframe is also getting a set of weld on adjusters for camber and the full group N treatment for the arms and swaybar mounting points. New bushings all around, and will be blasted, POR15ed and painted.

Structure of the arms should look something like below. (not my actual arms but a good friends)

very nice, still no wiring 201
those bars to strenghten the rear arms, may cause problems when you are gonna adjust camber / toe, recommended to get everything installed, then check for the best place to mount the bars.

Wiring 201 is in progress but hit a snag due to my DME being MIA for a few months. (I found it hiding out in a neighboring state but it took a while to get back and during that time I didn't have a spare to play with)

As for the bars I mount them where they support the arm the best and then think outside the box when adjusting the toe/camber.

I figure the M division put them there for a reason when they did the same from the factoory on the M coupes.

I was looking at this thread the other day. How much do you plan on moving the mounting point up on the brake pedal? Should be like an inch by my calculations right?

that does not look like out side of the box camber adjustment. looks more like inside of the car camber adjustment

I lost track of where the stock mount was exactly but it's mounting point comes in and mounts to the stock pedal arm and then up around an inch due to the MC being moved up and out away from the motor. The new rod end is 48mm(48.7mm to be exact) from the pivot point of the pedal assembly.
