Rear subframe has finally been swapped out... It's nice to see the car no longer at gay ride height, but now I have to figure something out to get the front lower.

And minor modification to fit the shifter:

Getting some work in before the valvecover goes back on for the last time.

Tomei Poncams and rocker arm stoppers in.

All sealed up... The valvecover didn't turn out exactly the way I want, but the body shop cheaped out and still spent more doing it than I wanted to pay, so I can always re-do it later.

S14 T28 turbo is in, along with new manifold, and turbo outlet pipe... It all fits!

Closeup of clearance. Vorshlag steering shaft definitely helped with clearance. Should make the steering feel much better too.

That sounds like a bunch of work... I'm trying to get this running on the cheap, so I'm probably just going to go with a boosterless setup.

I should send you pictures of my booster setup....i made a bracket and mounted it in the trunk...now there's a ton of room in the engine bay. I just used a 7/8" willwood mc at the pedal and a 7/8" slave to activate the booster in the trunk.

I have friends with a good amount more power than I have that have been beating on SR trannys for years, I'm just going to stick with it until I run into trouble, then I can worry about doing a 300zx trans.

As for ecu I'm still undecided.

Not planing to do a stronger trans with the time and more power? i got friends that have used a lot of SR trannys, i think five of them runs 300zx trannyes now, it costs but if ur planing to use it in drifitng the 300zx trannyes last 330whp will work well, planing on emanage etc with the new setup, or some other ecu ?

Just running a stock SR trans... As for power, for now I should be making about 240whp and 260 lb/ft, it's just gonna be a very basic safe setup. Once I get the T28, injectors, z32 maf, and a tune I'll easily be good for 330whp.

usally dont like verts, but this one is badass!

Fun to see someone fitting a sr20det in the e30 too, maybe you have wrote it, but what tranny are you going for? and how much power are you going to make ?

Some more work... Intercooler piping is just about mocked up, and test-fitted the plastic bumper on the front, so happy to be rid of the diving board.

    Just hangin out
