Wow that thing actually looks really clean and pretty mint from what I can tell in that pic... I still stand by my comments that with the fenders you have planned youre gonna need some wide rubber....I also stand by my suggestion about finding a 3.2L motor. But its your build Im curious to see where you go with it. Good luck to you and keep updating this thread

i'll see what the market for 3.2s looks like when the bodywork's done. and 10s is probably as wide as i could fit with adapters
Hatchbacks, wagons... It's NOT all the same. You want in? Don't get a mazda 3, get a mazda 6 wagon. Don't get a wrx get a legacy wagon. and theres a reason the A3 isn't called the A3 avant... Scion does not make a wagon it makes a weird van, but no wagons

      Sincerely,
      The Wagon Mafia:Inner Circle
P.S. Is your tail a wagon?

with all that body work and flares you should be able to fit some very wide wheels under it, see if you can find some 17x12's or something. it will be cool to see this finished, good luck with the build

Let me know what you find. I'll be in the market for a motor in a bit.

on ebay the best deals are around 7k. you can find watercooled 3.6s for even cheaper, like from a boxster or 997. but the last of the air cooled is what most people want which i assumed is what you ment

Definitely want an aircooled 3.6 for mine. I wouldn't swap a watercooled motor into a 964/993 ever.

Cool, i'm no Porsche expert, so i'll hold off on the advice, it'll be good to see no matter what you do with it. Any pics of the 2002?
