Just a personal opinion, I would be machining new billet forks, rather then cutting and welding the cast ones. It would be much safer.

I have the xl bags on the mk5 and it lays subframe in the front and gas tank in the rear. Ill probably make stainless arms for the rear as the tapered bags rub the spring cup a bit.

Haha ya unfortunately the plaid grill caught on and now you can buy preprinted sheet vinyl with the pattern on it. Takes the allure away from her hand pinstriped one
