Thanks dude, its good to know im on the right track. i often find that there is a very fine line between building something that is crazy yet tastefull/cool and building something that is crazy and pimp-my-ride-ish/terrible...

i would hope that if i do something that is just stupid or would kill the theme, that you guys would let me know straight up.

    cheers,

    Nick

haha yeah, we like the v8s but they're probably bigger in aussie, whereas in nz JDM cars are the norm. V8s are fairly common though, like even our cops drive LS1 powered cars... haha lucky bastards!

LOL lucky. We cant hear and the car was meant for boost it came with forged rods, crank and pistons just not the boost. Its making 320 now at the wheels(the reason for the awd) so that translates into 350 plus at the flywheel. Its a absolute riot to destroy almost anything he pulls up to. Its the off the line jump he gets because it does not have any weight to move. He just destroyed a new shelby mustang here in the states. I mean four or five car lengths ahead in less then a quarter mile. im not really into small cars or convertibles, but that thing would be pretty fun to drive i imagine! i used to see quite a few of those done up in the aussie mags ('fast fours and rotaries', 'hot fours' etc), but that was a few years back now. not many people really bothers turboing non-turbo cars in nz, as you can just go out and buy a 4wd turbo evo or wrx for a few grand... haha

These are at least 6 years old i need to take more pics, this was when the car was only making 220 HP at the wheels and btw with him in the car it only weighs 1450 lbs!

Now its got a whole new built motor making a ton more boost and soon to be AWD ill get some more pics of it.

We have started a suzuki samuria that will have a hayabusa motor in it along with a sprocket and chain for its drive gear instead of shafts. Should be a fun project.
good times! i love things that are way faster than they look like they should be. chuck up some vids of the hyabusa powered machine when its built, that'd be awesome!
