how do you find the 3.0?
Haha, makes sense I guess. 3.0 can be thirsty, get around 24-27mpg, but it makes an awesome noise, and 230bhp+ rwd on skinny tyres is always a laugh when it rains. Costs enough in fuel, insurance and tax though.

    ha ha!

    Amazing work all round! lol!

These really look so good now! think the guy who bought them off me, painted them, then had them blasted and repainted, so not sure how easily polishable they would be!

the story unfolds! in that case iv been to your house! i came with Ed to pic these up, you wasnt about so we didnt see you or the car [i think]
infact now i think about it i remember seeing the air kit in your garage in a box! your dad expalined something didnt go to plan? so the air was never put on?

Ed had them split, re-polished and re-build by Voodoo as two had leaks. He ran them for that season, been off since oct, and now they are miiiiine haha

I'll follow on the story then.

The guy who bought them off Mex had a shit paint job done on them so had them glass blasted and barrels powder coated, which is how i got them.

    Like so.

    Re-build

Yeah, if I didn't have sport bumpers by default, I wouldn't change them from the facelift ones.

What engine is this again, sorry if I've missed it?

Spener you should have done it!

Dr AK, my friend Mike took the pics, he has a good eye for angles and seems to get the best out of cars he shoots, so props go to him for that. You wont be disappointed with bags, it just makes life so much easier when your using it daily to and from work, and gives you a bit more freedom when getting the whole thing to sit right.

Jorge youve got it one, I learnt from my old Polo the hard way. i spent so much time getting the bumpers smoothed, changing the lights and interior etc and doing little bits, but i was never truely happy with it till it was sitting well. so iv done the opposite with this. all my initial plans have been to just get it sitting nice. not too sure what i will externally, i dont want sport bumpers or anything like that

I love the love this gets just for being low on a set of wheels. Externally you've literally done nothing else and it doesn't need it.

Those new pics are incredible. Your car is absolutely the best E46 out there right now, looks wise. I am completely and utterly in love with it.

And that's it. You have just made the decision for me: What ever car I end up buying once I get my licence back, it will have bags.
