So does anyone know what kind of plastic the M-tech 1 kit is made of? Need to know specifics.

No not really.. But its a shame to have a v10 engine and not be able to drive it.. Rather use money in something more fun than just track days. Been to SS not so long ago, they working on a e46 V10 now, sick build.

Yeah, I know it's been done, that's probably why I dreamt it, haha. You don't need white plates for a track car, doh.

Have some crazy ideas for that one, seems like S50 is to popular swap these days. Thinking M50b25, and modify it with different internals and supercharge it. 500hp would be a breeze. But I really want to do a e28, They have so much charm. I regret so much to this day that I sold my, was my first car. a red e28 525i. here is a hint V12? if I ever get me one.
Yeah, I'm falling in love with my car on a sexual level here, it's getting freaky!

Well, that's quite nice of him! Personally I don't like E28 that much, they're to big and.. well, 5-series is not my kind of meat. E30, E21, E24, and E46 is the way to go in my book.

Haha, M50B25 supercharger is just as common as S50 swap, if not even more. My next project will be converting an E30 into M3, which will be made for track use, so I'm always up for reading projects regarding turbo/strong naturally aspirated track car threads. I once dreamt that I was pulling 300 km/h in my E30, and to my surprise it was powered by an S85. Should I take that as a sign from above?

Haha, sounds swell. Would love to use the B32 myself, more power, better lubrication system etc. but thanks to the DMV I can't. Just found myself a M-tech 1 rear and front bumper now, closing the deal with the seller tomorrow. So now I suddenly have 1 complete M-tech 1 kit and 1 extra rear bumper.

No real deal. it says in the documents 320/M3 321Hk. Yes he got it out of a Z4, double Vanos with 6sp. Totally rebuilt with all M3 specks and parts. Since BMW newer built a Touring M3 from that era, he thought it was cool to do, its like a sheep in wolf clothing. Man do we had some fun here on E16/E18 with kids that thought they had a faster car.

Yeah, not only cars, but taxes and fees in general, they're sucking our wallets dry! It's like a bank robbery during the day, while the cops are eating donuts and watching. He just put one in, or did he get it approved of the DMV? B32 is the dream, but I don't think they'll allow me to do that, heh.

Yea.. thats the thing with Norway. really boring when it comes to cars. But SS have some connections, so they get their crazy cars to be certified. My friend recently had hes 320touring built with S50B32. paid alot but what a car.. nuts

Yeah, I know exactly what they do. But even if it's TÜV-certified the DMV can still disapprove of that, seeing as how they must act according to Norwegian rules and not German. Just look at the Wenås brothers who drove to Germany and got their E30 S50B32 Dekra-certified (which the DMV told them to do in order to get them legalized in Norway) and when they got home they simply said "No can do." Disliking Norway a lot.

Ah, cool. Hehe, it will work for cruising this summer, but it sure lacks power to really make me smile. Aaye, SS-Performance is a good connection, but rather expensive at that. If my application doesn't hit home run with the DMV/Biltilsynet I must say I am considering contacting them, but 10,000$ is quite a chunk load of money.

I'm from Oslo.. Looking for a e28 as new project. I have few ideas, and good connections with SS-Performance. They can help me register a crazy swap. but will have to wait.
