To be all honest, I have no idea. I just took the upper part of the bushing off, put it back in, then jacked the subframe up, then hit the bushing upwards with a plastic hammer and tightened the bolt. When I lowered it and jacked it up again on the jacking points the subframe was firm, not loose as a New York prostitute as it was before.

Woah, tons of money put into this but it definitely should be well beyond worth it in the end!

Hehe, thanks mate. I once told myself that I'd never buy a E36, but I guess I did. So far I've spent 1250$ on the two E36's and a grand total of around 22 000$ on the E30.. And there is at least another 20 grand left on the E30 before it's finito. I don't have that much time on my hands, as I've spent over two years on the E30 on and off, hehe.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Thanks l3xxd. Got the parts I have painted and mounted today, so now I'm on the search for a hood.

    Some pictures

    E30 out in the rain..

    SUNLIGHT!

Bought myself a crashed E36 318is on Friday, some pictures after dismantling the broken parts. Bought new plugs, motor oil, power fluid and and cleaned up some parts.

And then I bought a parts car today, E36 316i.

Nope, especially when it's a large chunk of missing plastic..The fiberglass and filler was like 2cm thick, weighed a ton.
