Have you seen the bolt on (plug on?) standalone kit for the s54 yet? Could be helpful for you if you are still having problems.

If it's running an all-stock DME why would it need to be tuned? Or have I missed something along the way.

headers, lightweight flywheel, underdrive pulleys, and a few other slight changes. it needs a few fuel maps adjusted.

It should be finished, but probably wont be tuned, or even if it is, the motor will tear the subframe out from under the car if I flog on it before the reinforcements.
