just go by whatever it started out as. You never change the name or gender... that would just be... awkward.

As I see it, not all cars are women. Cars that constantly need attention, have emotional breakdowns on the regular, and leak at least monthly are women. I bought Nelson for a daily driver while doing some motor stuff and a 4WS install on my 90 Prelude, Beyonce. The prelude was a woman because of all the aforementioned reasons, plus she had a big black girl attitude. But I digress. Nelson was boring looking, simple, never broke down, never needed attention, etc. I jumped it over railroad crossings, drove it offroad, whatever. Boy car. He never minded. Just so happened that he became the project and Beyonce became the POS.

I'll assume you originally put that in all caps. S/W hates all caps, because M.Bfurroughs hates all caps.

    Miss you too Ox!!

Had a guy totally randomly text me today. I had met him at a show a while back and he liked the car. Now he's trying reeeeeally hard to get me to sell it. Honestly, that would be a responsible, financially smart decision. I need the cash. But am I selling Nelson? FUCK THAT.

UGHGHG I would have loved to have a lot of parts off of that.

They can die. You have to run it without coolant for 11 miles. Then fill it with water. Then drive around with a warped head and blown head gasket for 2 weeks and let it burn off all the oil and water left in it.

Alternate method: delete the oil pressure sending unit so there's no oil light function, pound the oil pan on the ground a few times on the interstate, run out of oil, keep driving an unknown distance, bearings die.

But bringing them back to life is easy. Mine has done all the above and still fires right up

All the places where the "pillars" in the grill connect to the upper and lower horizontal parts of the bumper are broken, so it lost some of it's rigidity there too.
