custom machined adaptersOriginally posted by smokeydiesel View Posthow'd you get old beetle wheels to fit 4x100?
they are 15sOriginally posted by mustard_madman View PostYeah, not Beetle wheels.... those are either 13 or 14" steelies and Bug wheels are 15" diameter wheels. So don't be fooling people.
Though, the wheels do look nice.

Why do you care?Originally posted by mustard_madman View PostWell, solid VW Beetle wheels were older with the wide five lug pattern, which wouldnt be your wheels since the center caps on your car wouldnt cover... so... I would like to see more proof that these are VW wheels.
OP: Car looks great!!

the pictures do it more justice then in person. its a 21 year old car. its has some rough spots. I just found out last friday that the driver side rear fender has some decent rust. And im on cheap ebay coils. but the ride is extremely comfortableOriginally posted by JasperThomas View PostCan't wait to see where this goes. I love that colour on these cars too, and I'd say do white wheels. You're lucky to have found such a clean one to start with.
Also, what is the suspension setup right now?
I'll more then likely rebuild the motor or do a D15b Vtec or D16y6 swap. I have a friend that works for VRwheels and he got me a really good deal on some wheels that I couldnt pass up. and the car is lower now then in the picture. the mudflaps are about 1/2" off the ground.Originally posted by audobon View PostMy holy grail of whips. +5 on this setup joe,I'd say leave everything the way it is just more low,a zc swap & you'll be set.
and takes on Glow in the Dark?

clayton near raleigh (kinda) kinston (actually 7 springs) is where my dad's house isOriginally posted by R33D View PostI knew the name of them places from somewhere.
no problem made. i owned a 67 for awhile but we wont talk about thatOriginally posted by mustard_madman View PostI own 3 VW aircooled Beetles... and a slew of VW wheels and those dont look like any VW Beetle wheels as originally stated. That's why I am curious. Regardless, wheels look nice on the car..... whatever they are
