  • 2008 Ford Falcon

here's my daily driver. It is also my track car. My opinion is that cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed. Thus this car cops a hiding haha

I also have a 1971 Ford Capri GT drag car ... with the previous owners it has run in the 7s (small block V8 with supercharger) and 8s (N/A 383 Cleveland V8) respectively. i have put a 4L Turbo (6 cylinder) in it, and hoping to run 8s once i get used to the car... if there is enough interest ill put up some details of it.

Also had a R32 GTST i used for drift. Fucking loved that car. Sold it to concentrate on building up the Capri.

these are my daily rims ..
    Simmons FR19
    19x10 +10 front
    19x10.5 +23 rear

in the photos i have 245/40/R19 on the front, and 245/35/R19 on the rear
i will be getting 245/40/R19 all around in the coming weeks, i just had the 35 profile in my shed, so i thought id destroy some tyres first

currently the Tein coilovers are at their lowest, but while im away in Japan the car is going to WA Suspensions to get harder bushes (Nolathane) put in the front end to increase turn in capabilities, and also getting the rear adjustable bases' machined down 6mm, and removing one of the locking rings (as it isnt needed if the coilovers are maxed out), this should get me 11mm lower on the coilover.
The Teins are on a 1.5:1 ratio, eg: 10mm on the coilover = 15mm at the guard.
so this 11mm lower on the coilover should get the rear end where i want it

the car came with factory leather interior, with not much in the way of seat bolsters, which wasnt suited for track work.

so the Bride Vios 3 fixed back went in.

i then decided i wanted a stealthier look, so i went for the Bride Zeta 3.

That's a sick ford. Wonder why they thought the US market wouldn't like this?

the car has been through about 15 sets of wheels (serious), here's just a few of them.
others include Buddy Club P1, SSR SP1, Work Emotion CR KAI, a few Ford wheels, and more, i lose count.

          R34 GTR - 18x9 +30 .. track

          Volk TE37 - 17x9 +15 ... track

          Volk TE Progressive 2 - 19x8.5 +22, 19x9.5 +25

FPV 'Dark Argent' - 19x8 +36 - wheels used for servicing at Ford / warranty work

FPV 'Typhoon' - 18x8 +36 - "matt's killed all his tyres so had to buy these on short notice"

          Work Emotion XT7 - 18x8.5 +25, 18x9.5 +30 - current track wheels

          oops

I definitely like how the TE37's looked for track wheels most. Do you just do drifting or actual racing too?
