hello peoplez! sorry for the lack of update lol

here's the update from the past few months to date!

sounds like when the asteroid hit the earth haha!

my Kaminari splitter basically got smashed to bits, it had pretty much snapped in half, parts of it lifted and ended up with loadsa cracks etc etc, As I'm a student learning to be a painter/paint technician at college, I had an opputunity to repair the splitter myself as 'repairing fibreglass' was one of my workshop tasks on the sylabus.

I had to reform the splitter using filler and all sorts, fibreglass was too thin to work with and only had 2-3 hours to finish it which wasnt enough time, so did a quick jobby of it, looks better than it did before anyway, but could have been better if I had more time to spend on it.

now to paint the whole car to match the splitter lol

the best update of all: NEW WHEELZ!

yes... SSR Professors, 9j fronts and 10j rears, due to new offset those massive 50mm spacers are gone! fronts have 20mm spacers and rear is direct fit

final offsets ET -1 fronts with 20mm spacers, ET -19 rears direct fit

pretty awesome man! I'm in the process of upgrading the power on this, gonna try first with a boost controller and see how that goes, then might upgrade to a T3/T4 hybrid, that should give me about 450bhp, but I'm just aiming for 350-ish

only if it was that was easy to lower this, this car has so much clearance underneath, but due to the suspension design, its only going to go so much lower before the whole point of having a performance car is out the window lol

I did find some amazing low offset 18" LM's on Driftworks, they were off an NSX, missed out on 'em

or you could lower it even more on 16s :P

otherwise if you can pick up a set of 18x10 +20 LMs, that should reduce your need for such a big spacer

cheers dude, I am considering some 18's cause I can go low enough on the coilovers I have at the minute, due to a custom job... but my LM's are quite rare and they do make the car unique, so they might stay for a bit lol

what about widening the stock Z31 wheels to something like this

This is obviously a ruined set coz someone smashed them into a gutter

I did reverse the mounting face, but unfortunatley I didnt like the look of it lol

I liked how the center is front mounted, looks more motorsporty in my opinion.

these are very rare LM's due to thier specification

17x9j fronts, 17x10j rears, I had the centers bored out to work with the Nissan fitment, I been told these were Ferrari spec.... but who knows

offset is ET42 fronts, ET50 rears, as you can see, they are very high offset

numbers on the wheels are LM069 fronts and LM070 rears

I'm gonna agree with everyone else who said this, definetly reverse-mount the faces.

But regardless of that, I really like what you've done. Great stuff.

    Car looks sweet

whats the offset on the LMs?

if you reverse mount the center, you drop the offset by 15mm, thats what i did to my LMs
