If hes worried about oil pan clearance he could run a mk5 R32 oil pump with a shortened MK3 oil pan, exact same thing I am running and I used to bust aluminum pans all the time, and havent hit this new setup once yet!!
Also mk3 oil pans are STEEL, SSOO much better for bashing stuff. Only down side is it takes .5 quarts less of oil from what I've found, but with skills like you guys have you could kickout the side of the mk3 one and get back that .5 quarts.

Started working on the turbo exhaust manifold and downpipe today.

we used 3" 90 degree stainless bends, and split them down the middle to merge both downpipes together for both turbos.
