      correct.

Updates today on the back to front suspension.
customer wants to still maintain a pretty aggressive stance and minimize wheel gap. In order to achieve this with the new taller spindles raising the strut towers will be done. This will give us 1.75 inches in height drop without adjusting the suspension and sacrificing ride quality.

      shot before raising

shot of the passenger side strut tower top cut off and this section will be extended and cap will be welded back on

half finished product, welds will be grinded down and smoothed out

      side profile of suspension lowered

      rear shot

tires are 205-40-16 all around used just for mock up. Yes we know they're backwards

      roll cage also mocked up

completed seam welding the entire car. The rabbit should be 10x stronger than stock with all the structural bracing and welding of the panels.

also finished the drivers strut tower

            before

            after

started working on the dash today, shortened and modified the factory R32 dash support brace and welded\bolted it in place

            with dash bolted in place

dash was shorted approx 5 inches on the side and about 4-5 inches in the front along the windshield

with the dash being almost 5 inches more narrow the steering column stuck out way too far and we wanted all the steering wheel and dash trim pieces to light up like OEM so we had to modify and shorten the entire steering shaft, u-joint, and all the attaching parts

now the steering wheel could be bolted up

Customer was against the idea of running the r32 dash in the car, but we insisted the customer drive up and entertain the idea..... having said that, it looks 10X better in person than it does in the pics. So, basically spent an hour "discussing" wheel setups (i.e. backspacing, offsets, diameter, camber, turning radius, and everything under the sun in regards to set of wheels). We have some relatively serious issues to work out now (first of hopefully a few setbacks) but the long of the story is we're going to run a staggered 16" setup. Customers considering the build will be both a compromise of show and go.

Took the wheels off project owners corrado to help give us some relative perspective....

We also worked on the rear fender wells since the floor pan was transfered and the rabbit fender wells would be too small and more work to integrate we purchased a 14" wide motorcycle fender and cut it in half and modified it to fit into the rabbit. turned out quite nice

                              Oil pan clearance...

began building the eurowise r32 short runner manifold

A pic of the what it will look like when done.
