They were like $550 shipped or something. So 244Brick was pretty much right on!

Thanks a bunch! Yeah, the camber may not be everyone's thing, but it's perfect for me. And I also describe it as ridiculous.
Glad you can appreciate the whole package!

        Thanks!

I'm gonna try to make the next actual car update a good one.

        • Awww yeah...

It smelled so wonderful when I opened the plastic cover! And it's super comfy. It fits me perfectly, which I thought was pretty wild, since I'm 6'2" and like 145 pounds. Haha
          Definitely a good choice!

          • Nice looking project! It's so rare to see these cars actually built tastefully. -and that rear sway bar is epic sexytimez.

            • Thanks a lot, man! I really like the whole rear suspension setup, as well. I can't stand it when people just put a rear subframe brace, but have no rear sway bar. Haha That's the entire point of the brace! But life goes on...

In other news, I spent a little time brainstorming some front suspension ideas, and I think I came up with a prime solution to get more camber, more low, and most importantly, some suspension travel! It'll be a while before I get to it, though, as I want to get a few new parts to swap around and get some other parts powdercoated while it's apart. Just some random info, since I'm all hyped about it... Haha

                • Thanks! The first couple of posts will definitely put a phone to work. Haha
I have a couple of older strut tower pictures, but I honestly don't like posting pictures of things that I'm not totally happy with, as strange as that may sound. Once I get the front suspension sorted out and get the strut towers capped, then I'll be all over posting some pics of each "stage" of them! Right now, they're cut to a crazy extent, due to the camber arms being beyond maxxed out and the arms STILL being permanently bottomed out on the towers. I have a pretty fail-proof plan to remedy that, though! Then it will actually be enjoyable to drive again.

I did get the seat in a couple of weekends ago, and it is AWESOME. Can't wait to get the rest of the interior done now.
And on a totally random note, I like looking back on the progress of my cars every now and then, and I thought this was pretty crazy:

                  Pretty big change! Haha

                    • Often browse this forum lookin at build threads, but this for this thread I had to register so could post a reply! Love this car so much and the transformation you've took it through. I'm a honda head through and through but have never been that fond of the eg's, this car is definitely changing that! Fair play for doing it right, she's a credit to you! I love meisters as much as everyone but have to say I think the diamonds suited it better somehow, just by opinion tho. Have you considered getting 50/50 taillights? I think they would suit the clean white on white look you have much better than the orange corners! Also city lights up front would be a nice touch. Just my thoughts, either way, much respect for all your work, keep it up!

                        • rocker panels and front lip color matched would be dope in my opinion.

The Diamonds were perfect on there back when it was a daily, but it just 'outgrew' them, in my opinion, as I got the paint and body perfect and start adding fancy shiny pieces. Haha
Yeah, I toss around the red/clear tail light idea from time to time, but it's really hard for me to buy something that isn't OEM or 'quality' at this point. We'll see, though...

                            15x8" +0 and 15x10" +12.

Eh, that'd pretty much be a lost cause. It's all the OEM textured plastic stuff, so it'd SUCK ASS to get it smooth for paint, plus the paint would get fucked the first time I drove it, and that 3-stage Aston Martin shit isn't too terribly cheap. I can't say I'd be a fan of how it'd look, either, in all honesty... Always appreciate hearing people throw ideas around, though!

Damn, haven't checked this thread lately! Haha Nah, no updates on the Tib yet. My body guy FINALLY got back, so he's doing a few things on the Miata right now, then hopefully he can get to the Tib before next winter. We have A LOT of projects for him, so it'll be a while! I'm really considering just getting the Tib repainted and everything and just kind of alternating it as a daily. Maybe get some CCW LM5s for it, since that would honestly be cheaper than refinishing the Anhelos. I might build those to fit an S13 coupe instead.
I've been keeping an eye on a couple of guys around here to do a write up for the site, but they seem to have stopped progressing at the moment. Haha I'm probably just too picky!

In other news, I've got a couple of new parts to put on the Civic, but I'm trying to just get a big stash of parts so I can knock everything out at once, kind of like I'm doing with the Miata. I've also finally gotten the 944 Turbo going, so I've been driving it to work and such while we address a couple of little issues along the way to get it running and driving totally perfect. Pretty exciting! I love that thing. Haha
