As for Civic updates, there isn't much to speak of at the moment, unfortunately! That's the downside of having too many projects and yet still wanting more. Haha
I've been doing a lot to my Samurai lately, like completely reupholstering the interior and getting a custom-made hard top, plus I'm trying to find another Porsche and being VERY picky about it.
I have ordered a few more things for the Civic, though, and I'm still waiting on Status to get their shipment of harnesses in. It's hard to not start tearing the car apart, but I want to have EVERYTHING on hand, ready to install first. I'm getting closer, though!Last edited by 06tiburonofdoom; 09-24-2014, 02:46 PM.

This is a beautiful EG. Really want to pick one up NOW after seeing this. Love the work and care you have put into it and the stories throughout the whole thread. Wish I could find a stock EG around here
Just a sidenote: I read all the way through this and it took me till the last page to realize that the first post had all the updates lol

Thanks! Hopefully I can get something mildly consistent going in this thread soon. Haha

I finally drove the Civic to my house a few weeks ago, loving every minute of the 2 mile drive. I'm pretty sure I could've driven it for hours if it wasn't looking like it could've rained at any moment.
Cleaned off the dust and crazy amount of cobwebs (especially in the lips of the wheels), then decided to tear things up.
Firstly, I finally got my Miata's interior back together after waiting FOREVER for the seats to get done. Still have several things to install, but at least it's drivable now!
And since that interior was in one piece, I had to tear another vehicle's interior apart. Enter the Civic.
Still have the passenger footwell sound deadener to remove, as well as some random bracing, but it's pretty well pulled apart now!
As I unfortunately discovered, Honda no longer makes the black dashes for these (haven't checked on door panels, yet), and it seems to be quite difficult to find a perfect, black, non-airbag dash. GAY. I might end up dyeing a blue one...
I also decided to pull some stuff out of boxes today for no reason, so here are the results of that...
K-Tuned shifter, FUCAs, FLCAs, rear toe arms, 16 kg/mm Swift springs, 13 kg/mm Swift springs, and a good ol' black leather Nardi.
I still need to get the Wilwood brakes and new, shorter, appropriately-valved struts before I revamp the front and rear suspension.
It's getting closer, at least!

Daaamn, it's been FOREVER!

It's sad, but I haven't touched it in about a year, aside from merely starting it a couple of times.
Through 2013, I built a brand new house with a 1,250 square foot (~8 car) climate controlled garage, bought a couple more vehicles, spent some money on them, and just finished moving in the first week of January.
HOWEVER, the Civic is the only car I haven't moved over here yet, as there is a large pile of leftover wood and such in the spot I want it in, so I need to move that out once it quits snowing and warms up a bit.
Then, the plan is to put the Civic on jack stands, take out the front and rear suspension, and replace numerous parts while powdercoating the rest. It really isn't drivable with the current front suspension setup, so that's my main priority. I have most of the parts sitting on my designated parts shelves, so it should be a fairly quick process once I get it started.
I'm also starting a new job this month that should allow me to increase progress on all of my projects, so I'm SUPER excited for that.
