Yes sir! It's been far overdue. I'm kind of going back and forth between an 8.5" or 8" for the front with a 165/45, though. They just don't make the 8s in exactly as low of an offset as I'd like, but I'm not sure how that stretch would look with an 8.5. There's couple of pics on tyrestretch, but that only goes so far. Haha

Oh! And the car RUNS (normally)!!! Finally. That was really annoying and stressful to deal with. It turns out that it's something in the ECU, so I put the original on it (which is when it ran like a champ) until I can send the other ECU out to Hondata to get fixed up.

And for a bit more info to add to my usual wall of text, the hardtop is making progress. I picked up the glass and some more hardware for it, and last night at around 2:00 a.m., I had the urge to buy a meaner ring and pinion gear for the ol' Miata. So...I've got a 4.44 setup on the way. Don't fret, however, as this will not delay the wheels. I'm still looking at late Nov/early Dec to order!

Alright, I suppose I'll throw a quick update in here since I'm bored.
I went to take the Civic out on Saturday, but as I began to pull out of the driveway, super happy to be driving it again...the main relay issue reared its ugly head and the car instantly died. After some troubleshooting, it's seemingly ground-related, due to how intermittent it is. Sooo, if I can't find the problem without taking the wiring harness out, I'm just going to bypass the relay, which I really didn't want to do, but I'm not taking that harness out unless I'm replacing it with a tuck harness. Plus, I just really wanna drive it...
However, as a Christmas gift to the beloved Civic, I am going to order some Meisters for it in late November to early December. So around February/March, I should have the 5.75" lips rocking hard!

The wheel order was slightly delayed due to my hardtop project, which is quite an undertaking! So here's a little info on that, as well...
Since I like to have my blood, sweat, and tears into all of my projects, I bought a top in need of a full restoration. The paint is shot, there's cracks and chips, the glass has bubbled-to-hell tint baked onto it, and the seals and moldings need replacing. Instead of taking the shop to a body shop, I decided to get ahold of our guy to undertake the paint and body work in my parents' shop, that way I can keep an eye on the progress and maybe help out with it if I ever have time.
So without further ado, here's some 'BEFORE' pictures of the top. I'm not entirely sure why they had it upside down, but it is what it is, since I didn't take pics when I should have.
First off...the horrendous tint. When my buddy and I picked it up, the first thing we thought was, "Let's peel this nasty ass tint off!", which in hindsight, was a bad idea. This shit was CRISPY. It was like peeling off a pie crust that had been glued to a wall. So we got one little piece, threw up a bit from the smell it produced, and called it quits.

Now for a few pics of the exterior blemishes...

    Very badly done previous repair...

Interior of poorly repaired grabber. Missing some hardware, as well...

So here's what's going down on it. All parts purchased, by the way...
New glass (SUCKED ASS to find a non-defrosted glass for under $450 locally)
    New seals, moldings and weatherstripping
Replacing latches with Spec Miata brackets
Body work and respray, inside and out

Should be done in a couple of weekends!
Sorry for the lengthy and only partly Civic-related post. Like I said, I'm bored. Haha

Haha, I might once I get coilovers for it and new wheels for the Civic. I'd rather just have some SSRs waiting for it, though.

And in Miata related news, I got a hardtop last night! It was cheap as shit, but it's also pretty haggard. Haha I'm gonna drop it off at the body shop tomorrow if they can get it in!

Thanks, man! I got the exhaust from Weksos, and it is, indeed, for an EG.

Shit, I have no idea. I'm just worried about that relay screwing up on me again! It's not fun having to push this thing into a parking lot. Haha

Thanks! Buddy Club is the only way to go. It's loud as fuck, but it looks clean as hell and gives great ground clearance!
I'm looking forward to seeing some more progress on your hatch, too.

I'm also hoping to finally order my new wheels in a couple of months, provided that I don't go crazy buying random Miata parts. Haha
