Just a question how much space you, ve got between the skirt and the floor??
My mk3 is not as low as yours but it seems I have lesser room between skirt and floor then you.

      Thanks for the pics

      @ Wishmaster
Your MKIII might have more rake.
I barely can fit my bare foot between the lip and the ground, as soon as I put on shoes it doesn't fit, even with slim sneakers, lol.

          • Again awesome picture, s ...
But what I mean with skirt I mean sideskirt not front lip
Because when I left my garage the tarmac is a little bit lower and once a while I scrape my skirt already on the edge of my garage floor.
And it, s the corner right behind my front wheel....
            I shall measure it tommorow

              • Hey Sherperd

I measured the space between the sideskirt and the floor.
                It,s about 8 centimeter
And the space between the fenderliner and the rim is about 7,5 centimeter
This is with 16 inch wheels 8J wide with 195/40/16 falken ziex 912 tires
I,ve made some pictures to show

Don,t ask why my rims are that dirty

                  • Hey Shepherd

You drive with adjustable uniball topmounts that can give more or less camber.
Isn, t getting extra roadnoise in to the interior???
I, ve also thought about buying them but I am afraid of the negative sideaffects.
Or is there no negative side effect???

                              • Nothing new yet, it's slowly reaching 400000Km and it's falling apart lol.
Exhaust came off, Cruise Control stopped working and even the handle from the glovebox broke off, lol.

Gonna get it ready for the TÜV this month, which basically means I'm putting it into winter mode.

I'll drive it to a few meets next year, while it's still on the road.
With the shell/paint being in a really sucky condition and my Scirocco being way more interesting to me atm, I decided that it's time for the Golf to go.

So at some point next year, I'll have a new daily driver and the Golf will be parted out.
Won't be the end though.... gonna restart with a better Syncro shell at some point.
