trust me, i bet im not the only one who would love to have a pristine car, but sometimes its just not in the cards.

well thanks man, i was brought up on rat rods, and budget builds etc. and thats how i do everything.

the reason i removed my rack was because i broke the slats when i stood on the (220lbs on a good day)

But i am getting tired of people saying "i love/**** how you ratted out your E30"
but the truth is i didnt "rat it out" i started with a not so celan car, adn went with it. and played off of it, i didnt purposely maek it dirty or faded or rusty etc. If it has a rat look, thats cool, but i dont feel like i diminished the value of my car in anyway. im just doin what i like.
i'm honored you regard this build that way tho dude.

Recently read through this and honestly there's something more real about builds that people take up with an idea and limited money. Compared with a lot of builds on vwvortex even mine pales in comparison but the moment you start building your car according to others peoples suggestions or expectations you might as well throw in the towel. You're in it for yourself and if it doesn't work the first time that experience will just carry over to the next one.

Looking forward to seeing more updates of this and the 240 since originally I wanted a 240 but I don't have the space for it.
